Encore, doo-wop!
A treat for the ears and a spectacle for the eyes. Awesome show, well performed and highly entertaining. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much afterwards! Catch the next performances from their season when you can!

I had the opportunity to see this show last night (Thursday) and after having seen it umpteen times in the past, I must say that this is one of the best productions of Forever Plaid. The cast - Michael Dotson (Frankie), Jay Emrich (Smudge), Jon Lambert (Jinx) and Don Farrell (Sparky) - were spot on with their harmonies and solos. But this show is not just about four guys who sang and died together. This is a show about four guys who are individuals who have a story to tell. And tell it wonderfully, they did! They became real, not just an act. You knew these people; you went to high school with them. Maybe you were even one of them.
The band (David Duncan and Patrick O'Hara) were great. The set would be a treasure to work on and - as opposed to Clowes Hall for Forbidden Broadway - the sound was exceptional.
The show is only playing Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so put down the knitting and the yard work and GO. You won't be sorry.
